Circle Of Security Parenting
You are warmly invited to join me for a 6 week 'Circle of Security' Parenting Program. I am very excited to be able to offer this program again before Christmas as this time of year can throw up particular challenges in our parenting journey and our family lives.
Now is a perfect time to introduce you to an easy to understand map of how to build greater security with your child. It will give you answers to why your child might be doing what they are doing and how you can better understand and meet their needs.
Every parent needs support. Joining a committed group of loving parents for 6 weeks will build your support network, your commitment to your family and will nurture your needs as a parent. I aim to make this 6 weeks as nourishing, informative and as deeply connected as possible for you.
Why? Because I believe parents are doing the MOST IMPORTANT JOB OF ALL, raising children! And you deserve lots and lots of support, nourishment and loving!
The Circle of Security is an internationally recognised, relationship based, early intervention program designed to enhance attachment security between parents and children.
Decades of university-based research have confirmed that secure children exhibit increased empathy, greater self-esteem, better relationships with parents and peers, enhanced school readiness and an increased capacity to handle emotions more effectively when compared with children who are not secure.
This six-session parent group is for parents with babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers and is designed to enhance the bond and sense of security for both parent and infant in their relationship by:
~Giving parents a roadmap as a way to better understand their children's needs
~Inviting parents to reflect on their own experiences of being parented and how it impacts on their parenting
~Providing an environment where parents can focus on their strengths and struggles and benefit from the experience of sharing with other parents
